Triple-It is a very special opportunity to support our Mentor Mothers programme. Mentor Mothers are women from the same communities as the clients they serve – from some of the most remote and under-served communities in the rural Eastern Cape of South Africa.

The natural empathy that they bring means that the advice they give is taken: treatment regimens are observed, appointments are kept, healthy practices are followed.

The results have been outstanding, the most spectacular being a mother to baby HIV transmission rate of just 0.03%, in a region where 24% of mothers are HIV+.

We now want to greatly expand the number of Mentor Mothers.

£153 becomes £459 after Triple It matching - could pay a Mentor Mother’s salary for a month - enabling her to reach out to up to 160 families with support

£1,833 becomes £5,500 after Triple It matching - could pay a Mentor Mother’s salary for a whole year - allowing her to have a transformational impact in her community
